Building homes is not just a matter of buying materials, hiring labor, and following plans. We at TAPA Homes know that building homes requires a great deal of knowledge, craftsmanship, and desire to build the best homes possible. The future of home building will also require a great deal of thought into construction best practices, environmental impact, energy conservation, sustainable resources, and much, much more. We have taken the time and energy to learn about these subjects and have earned numerous certifications in the process.

The GreenAdvantage certification is where it all began for us. It showed us how past building practices had not taken into consideration energy consumption, raw material usage, and even over all comfort in our homes.

As a Home Energy Auditor BPI - Building Performance Institute certification taught our staff the importance of making the whole house operate as one system. It taught us that there is much more to making a comfortable home and lowering energy expense than turning off the lights and caulking around windows.

We are proud to be an Energy Star certified builder. Energy Star is program developed by the Department of Energy to help all of us make better use of our energy resources.
